Speaker bios

Dr. Mariam Noorani is the head of the Department of Pediatrics at the The Aga Khan hospital –Dar es salaam. Dr Noorani is a consultant Paeditriacian whose area of expertise is on lactation medicine and general pediatric practice. She has a Masters of Medicine (MMed) degree in Paediatrics.

Bwiro J. Magesa is working with the AAR Healthcare Tanzania as Quality Assurance Manager.

Bwiro has more than 13 years of experience in both public and private health sector in Tanzania and her area of expertise is in Quality Management Systems, Leadership, Operations, Supply Chain, Audit and Business Strategies.

Bwiro holds Masters of Business Administration in Corporate Management (MBA-CM), Masters of Pharmacy in Quality Assurance and Quality Control and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from University of Dar es Salaam.

She believes in creating and promoting culture of quality as a catalyst for sustainable business performance
